Estos términos rigen el uso del sitio web de Silver and Body Jewelry, el negocio detrás de El Morado Jewelry ("El Morado", "nosotros"). Al usar el sitio los aceptas. Si no estás de acuerdo, por favor no uses el sitio.

1. Qué es este sitio

Este sitio es el escaparate de una joyería física en Plaza México, en Lynwood. Aquí no se vende nada en línea. Sirve para ver piezas, conocer los metales que tenemos y nuestros planes de apartado, y saber cómo comunicarte con nosotros. Toda compra y todo apartado se acuerda directamente con nosotros, en la tienda.

2. Precios y disponibilidad

El sitio no muestra precios. Cualquier precio que te demos por teléfono, por mensaje o en persona vale solo por el plazo que indiquemos al dártelo. Si no indicamos un plazo, vale solo por ese día. Un precio no es un contrato: una venta queda acordada solo cuando la hacemos en la tienda y te damos un recibo.

Las piezas se pueden vender en cualquier momento. Que una pieza aparezca en el sitio no garantiza que siga disponible. Podemos corregir errores del sitio en cualquier momento.

3. Información de las piezas

Las fotos y los dibujos son de referencia. Los colores cambian de una pantalla a otra. El metal y las piedras de una pieza son los que confirmamos en la tienda al momento de la compra. Las piezas con baño de oro llevan una capa delgada de oro sobre plata que se gasta con el uso; ese desgaste es normal y no es un defecto.

4. Apartado

Preguntar por el apartado, por teléfono o por Instagram, no aparta ninguna pieza. Una pieza queda apartada solo cuando dejas un anticipo en la tienda. El anticipo, el plazo, cómo funcionan los abonos y qué pasa si un apartado no se termina de pagar se te entregan por escrito junto con tu recibo, y esas condiciones por escrito prevalecen sobre cualquier cosa que diga este sitio.

5. La guía de perforaciones

La guía de perforaciones y el mapa de la oreja son información general sobre joyería y el lugar donde se usa. No son consejo médico. Para una perforación nueva, cómo cuidarla y cuándo cambiar el arete, sigue las indicaciones de un perforador profesional. Si la tienda hace perforaciones en un día determinado, y qué se necesita, se confirma en la tienda.

6. Preguntas y mensajes

El sitio no tiene formularios. Nos preguntas por teléfono o por Instagram. Una pregunta no aparta una pieza ni crea un pedido. Contestamos lo antes posible dentro del horario de la tienda. Los mensajes por Instagram también están sujetos a los términos de Instagram.

7. Uso aceptable

Aceptas no:

  • usar el sitio para nada ilegal,
  • copiar o recolectar su contenido con herramientas automáticas,
  • interferir con la seguridad del sitio ni intentar entrar al panel del dueño,
  • hacerte pasar por la tienda, o usar nuestro nombre, fotos o logotipo para engañar a alguien.

8. Propiedad del contenido

Los textos, fotos, dibujos, diseños, el nombre y el logotipo de este sitio pertenecen a Silver and Body Jewelry o a quienes nos dan licencia para usarlos. Puedes ver el sitio para uso personal y no comercial. No puedes copiar, volver a publicar ni vender su contenido sin nuestro permiso por escrito. Las tipografías Libre Baskerville y Figtree se usan bajo la licencia SIL Open Font License.

9. Enlaces a otros servicios

El sitio tiene enlaces a servicios de otras empresas, como Instagram, mapas y WhatsApp. No los controlamos y no somos responsables de su contenido ni de sus políticas.

10. Exclusión de garantías

These terms govern your use of the website of Silver and Body Jewelry, the business behind El Morado Jewelry ("El Morado," "we," "us"). By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. What this site is

This site is a showcase for a physical jewelry store at Plaza México in Lynwood. Nothing is sold through it. It lets you see pieces, learn about the metals we carry and our layaway plans, and find out how to reach us. Every purchase and every layaway plan is arranged with us directly, in the store.

2. Prices and availability

The site does not show prices. Any price we give you by phone, by message, or in person is good only for the period we state when we give it. If we state no period, it is good for that day only. A price is not a contract: a sale is agreed only when we complete it at the store and give you a receipt.

Pieces can sell at any time. A piece appearing on the site does not guarantee that it is still available. We may correct errors on the site at any time.

3. Product information

Photos and drawings are for reference. Colors vary from screen to screen. The metal and stones of a piece are the ones we confirm at the store when you buy it. Gold-plated pieces carry a thin layer of gold over silver that wears with use; that wear is normal and is not a defect.

4. Layaway

Asking about layaway, by phone or on Instagram, does not hold a piece. A piece is held only when you leave a deposit at the store. The deposit, the time frame, how payments work, and what happens if a plan is not completed are given to you in writing with your receipt, and those written terms control over anything on this site.

5. The piercing guide

The piercing guide and the ear map are general information about jewelry and where it is worn. They are not medical advice. For a new piercing, how to care for it, and when to change the jewelry, follow the instructions of a professional piercer. Whether the store offers piercing on a given day, and what it requires, is confirmed in the store.

6. Questions and messages

The site has no forms. You ask us by phone or on Instagram. A question does not reserve a piece or create an order. We answer as soon as we can during store hours. Messages on Instagram are also subject to Instagram's own terms.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the site for anything unlawful,
  • copy or collect its content with automated tools,
  • interfere with the site's security or try to access the owner dashboard,
  • pretend to be the store, or use our name, photos, or logo to mislead anyone.

8. Ownership of content

The text, photos, drawings, designs, name, and logo on this site belong to Silver and Body Jewelry or to those who license them to us. You may view the site for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, republish, or sell its content without our written permission. The typefaces Libre Baskerville and Figtree are used under the SIL Open Font License.

9. Links to other services

The site links to services run by other companies, such as Instagram, maps, and WhatsApp. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or policies.

10. Disclaimers

The site is provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties about the site, including that it will be uninterrupted, error free, or current at every moment. This section is about the website. It does not limit any warranty we give you in writing for a purchase, or any right you have under California law that cannot be waived.

11. Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, El Morado is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site. Our total liability for any claim about the site is limited to one hundred dollars (US $100). Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute about the site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California. Either of us may bring a qualifying claim in small claims court.

13. Changes

We may change the site or these terms at any time. The new terms apply from the date we post them here. If you keep using the site after that, you accept them.
